YG Leisure has introduced that each one six members of iKON can be leaving the company.
On December 30, YG Leisure launched the next assertion asserting iKON’s departure:
Hiya, that is YG Leisure.
We’re informing you that after a protracted dialogue with the iKON members (Kim Jinhwan, Bobby, Tune Yunhyeong, Goo Junhoe, Kim Donghyuk, and Jung Chanwoo) about their future actions, out of respect for one another’s opinions, we agreed to finish our unique contract following the expiration of their contract interval.
We sincerely thank iKON, who has been with us as one in all our company’s artists up till now. We’re trying ahead to their future actions in all kinds of fields, and we can be cheering them on.
Moreover, we additionally thank the iKONIC [iKON’s fans] who had been along with us for iKON’s journey. We ask that you just proceed to present the members your unchanging curiosity and encouragement as they put together for a brand new begin.
iKON first debuted as a seven-member group below YG Leisure in 2015. In 2019, the group’s then-leader B.I left each iKON and the company.
